These terms govern the Founding Member offer from Scorecrypt LLC ("Scorecrypt," "we," "us"). They apply to the first 100 wrestling programs that claim a Founding Member spot. By submitting an email reservation, or by paying for a Founding Member subscription, you accept these terms.
These Founding Member terms supplement the Scorecrypt Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, these Founding Member terms control for the Founding Member offer and the Year 1 subscription period.
Eligibility
The Founding Member offer is open to wrestling programs at any competitive level (youth, middle school, high school, club, college) located in the United States.
One Founding Member spot per program. The person claiming the spot represents that they have authority to bind the program for purposes of this subscription. That typically means a head coach, athletic director, club officer, booster board officer, or business office signer.
For these terms, "program" means the persistent organizational unit that operates the wrestling activity, identified by its institution, club name, or governing organization. Individual roster turnover does not change program identity.
The Founding Member offer is not available to resellers, agencies, or any party acquiring a spot for purposes of resale, transfer, or speculation.
What's locked
Your Year 1 subscription price is locked at the Founding Member rate for the tier you select:
- Core: $99 / year
- Plus: $199 / year
- Complete: $399 / year
"Year 1" means the 12-month period beginning on the date your first paid subscription is processed.
The lock applies to the price of your chosen tier for Year 1 only. Feature scope, support response targets, integrations, and product roadmap follow the published service description for that tier and may change as Scorecrypt evolves the product.
Prices exclude applicable taxes, which Scorecrypt will collect where required.
The canonical pricing reference is maintained in Scorecrypt's internal pricing source of record. If you see a discrepancy between this page and any other Scorecrypt-published pricing reference, the canonical source controls and we will correct the discrepancy.
What you get beyond pricing
Founding Members also receive, for as long as the subscription remains continuously active:
- A "Founding Member" badge displayed in-product on your program profile and on customer-visible surfaces where program identity is shown
- Early access to new Scorecrypt features as they reach beta, ahead of standard release
- A Founding Member input channel (an asynchronous communication channel hosted by Scorecrypt, platform to be selected by Scorecrypt) for submitting and upvoting feature requests
Early access does not guarantee any specific feature, timeline, performance level, or service availability for beta features. Beta features are provided "as is" and may be modified, paused, or discontinued without notice.
Scorecrypt may change the delivery mechanism for these benefits (for example, move the input channel from one platform to another) without prior notice. The substantive benefit (badge, early access, input channel) remains while your subscription is active.
Holding a spot vs. claiming a spot
Founding Member signup happens in two stages.
Stage 1: Reservation. Submitting your email reserves your place in the Founding Member queue. A reservation does not consume one of the 100 paid spots and does not require payment.
Reservations remain valid until Scorecrypt's MVP launch (general availability of the paid product). On the date of MVP launch, every active reservation enters a 14-day conversion window.
Stage 2: Paid claim. During your 14-day conversion window, you must select a tier and complete payment to claim your Founding Member spot. A spot is "claimed" only when payment for the Year 1 subscription has been received and successfully processed.
Reservations that are not converted to a paid claim within the 14-day window expire automatically, and the spot returns to general availability. Reservations are otherwise filled in the order in which they were received.
If you reserve after MVP launch, your reservation enters the 14-day conversion window immediately on submission.
Capacity and waitlist
The Founding Member offer is hard-capped at 100 paid claims.
Once all 100 spots are claimed:
- The Founding Member offer closes
- No waitlist is maintained
- Additional signups proceed at the published standard rate card, with no future Founding Member backfill, replacement, or expansion
The cap is enforced strictly. If two paid claims attempt to settle simultaneously and only one spot remains, the earlier-received payment wins. The later payment is refunded in full, and that customer is offered standard-rate signup.
Scorecrypt does not maintain a "next 100" or successor cohort. The Founding Member designation is a one-time offer tied to the original 100 spots.
What happens at renewal
Year 1 pricing is locked for Year 1 only.
After Year 1:
- Your subscription auto-renews at the then-current standard rate for your selected tier
- Scorecrypt will send a renewal notice to the email address on file at least 30 days before your renewal date
- The renewal notice will state the new rate and the renewal date
- You may cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid the renewal charge
Founding Member benefits (badge, early access, input channel) continue at no extra cost as long as your subscription remains continuously active, including after Year 1. If your subscription lapses for any reason and you later re-subscribe, you re-enter as a standard customer. Founding Member status does not reactivate.
Cancellation and refunds
Year 1 fees are non-refundable, subject to the two exceptions stated below.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your then-current paid subscription term. Except as set out in the two exceptions below, no refund, full or pro-rated, will be issued for unused time. You retain full access through the end of the paid term.
To cancel a renewal, send written notice to hello@scorecrypt.com at least one (1) calendar day before your renewal date, or use the in-product cancellation control. Cancellations received after the renewal date apply to the following renewal cycle.
If Scorecrypt terminates your account for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy (Terms of Service §5), non-payment of a renewal, or fraudulent activity, no refund is owed.
Exception 1: 30-day money-back guarantee
The 30-day money-back guarantee described in Scorecrypt's Terms of Service applies to Founding Member subscriptions. If you request a refund in writing to hello@scorecrypt.com within thirty (30) calendar days of the date you complete payment for your Year 1 Founding Member subscription, Scorecrypt will refund the full Year 1 fee. Submitting a refund request within the 30-day window automatically forfeits your Founding Member spot, which returns to general availability.
Exception 2: voluntary service discontinuation
If Scorecrypt voluntarily discontinues the Scorecrypt service in a way that prevents you from receiving the substantive benefits you paid for during Year 1, Scorecrypt will refund the unused portion of your Year 1 fee on a pro-rated basis.
Transferability
Founding Member status attaches to the wrestling program, not to a specific individual or email address.
If your program undergoes ordinary administrative changes, Founding Member status follows the program automatically and the subscription continues uninterrupted. Covered changes include:
- New head coach, assistant coach, or athletic director
- Change in administrative contact, billing contact, or business office signer
- School name change or rebrand
- Conference or league realignment
- Reasonable booster or parent-organization restructuring
Notify hello@scorecrypt.com of any change to the billing contact, billing address, or payment method to keep the subscription in good standing.
A Founding Member spot may not be sold, traded, gifted, or assigned to a different wrestling program. If the original program permanently ceases operations, the Founding Member spot terminates and is not returned to general availability or reassigned.
In the case of a school district merger, school closure with student transfer to a successor school, or club merger, the program with the greater roster continuity (by majority of returning athletes or coaching staff) is treated as the successor program for purposes of these terms. Scorecrypt has reasonable discretion to make this determination and will document it in writing.
Service availability and pre-launch product
Scorecrypt is launching a new product. We do not promise any specific uptime, response time, or feature availability for the Founding Member period or Year 1. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide the service, and we will communicate planned outages and significant incidents in advance where practical.
The Founding Member offer is not contingent on any specific feature roadmap. Features described on the marketing site or roadmap are aspirational and not contractual commitments.
Changes to these terms
Scorecrypt may revise these terms at any time.
For material changes (changes that meaningfully reduce Founding Member benefits, narrow eligibility for existing Founding Members, or change the structure of the Year 1 price lock), Scorecrypt will provide at least 30 days' prior notice by email to the address on file.
For non-material changes (clarifications, typo fixes, formatting, contact information updates), Scorecrypt may update these terms without advance notice. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
Founding Members do not have a special right to cancel and receive a refund in response to changes to these terms or the service during Year 1. Your remedy for any change is the standard cancel-at-end-of-term right described in "Cancellation and refunds" above. We accept this trade-off in exchange for the locked Year 1 price.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Founding Member offer will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration seated in Lake County, Illinois. You and Scorecrypt each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
Either party may bring a qualifying dispute in small-claims court as an alternative to arbitration, where the court has jurisdiction over the parties and the amount in controversy is within the court's limits.
